OK-VISE is a well-recognized international trademark, best known as an original inventory and manufacturer of the wedge-operated low-profile clamping system concept. The company’s products are used in workholding, especially in fixtures used in machining centers and milling machines. With OK-VISE components a variety of workpiece types, sizes and materials can be securely held on all possible workholding platforms.
OK-VISE low-profile clamps expand when they are tightened down, simultaneously pressing the workpieces against the guide and preventing their movement. They are designed to fit between workpieces and take up very little space on the fastening base. Small in size, yet with an excellent clamping force of up to 150 kN, these clamps guarantee a holding capacity that clearly exceeds the load of machining forces. Fastening with only one store ensures quick set-up times.
The OK-VISE Blank Fixturing System is designed to be used when dedicated (product-specific) fixtures are needed. Typically, it is used in the high volume production machining. Blank plates are used as a platform on which to build the fixture. Aluminum and steel blanks are recommended.
Multi-Rail RM System
Multi-Rail is the best selling generic purpose workholding system from OK-VISE. Compared to a traditional machine vise, the Multi-Rail system allows you to machine all sides of a workpiece with two setups as well as safely clamp different size and quantity of workpieces on the same area.
Multi-Rail RH System
Size doesn’t matter
Multi-Rail RH is the new general purpose fixturing system from OK-VISE which is the optimal choice when the clamping force is over 4 tonnes, and when the workpieces are large in size.
Various operating modes
The Combo-Rail is a unique patent-pending design from OK-VISE offering multiple modes of operation such as floating mode for clamping of workpieces with inaccuarte dimensions (castings or forgings), as well as centralizing and machine vise modes.
Grid Fixturing System
Generic purpose fixture
This product family is optimized to be used on a grid platform, which is the most common platform type for generic purpose fixturing. The main principle is to clamp 1 or 2 workpieces against stoppers, that can be fixed or adjustable. By choosing enough adjustment reserve in the clamp and stop modules, all sizes of work pieces can be clamped.
In addition to fixturing components manufactured by OK-VISE, we offer work-holding platforms such as tooling blocks which provide the state-of-the-art features that support effective fixturing and enables higher productivity of the CNC system. Most common platform types are T-slot, Grid and Blank platforms. Material choices are Aluminum or cast iron.
